Florida - Part 4

Tired of these Florida posts yet??? :)

Today we had a pretty chill day - did a little shopping, but mostly hung around the condo while I worked.

These are pictures from yesterday. We went to the pool in the morning and the beach in the late afternoon. As usual, Amelia had a blast at the beach. She has so much fun playing in the waves and running all over the beach. She approaches almost all the kids she sees, especially boys. There were a group of girls (a little older, ~5-7 year olds) playing in a water hole. She jumped right in and started playing with them. It was hilarious! Alex's parents took some video of it, but it's not in the right format to add here. Trust me, it was awesome.

Florida - Part 3

This morning we went to Mote Aquarium. It was so neat! It was mostly indoors with some parts outside. We saw so many creatures - it was a hit! Amelia really liked looking at the fish, the sea turtles and the manatees.

We attempted the whole put-your-head-in-the-hole pic, but Amelia couldn't have been LESS interested in putting her hed in the hole. So, this is what I got.

She WAS interested in splashing in the touchable aquarium, though.

Cute little seahorses. They also had itty bitty seahorses that were just born on 4/6/10. They looked like sea monkeys (Ok, a little bigger than that).

They had a net to show how hard it is for sea turtles to get out. Amelia had a blast playing in it and didn't want to come out.

More fun from Florida!

Amelia is such a little fish. She loves swimming in the pool, and LOVES playing in the waves at the beach.

She also really liked chasing the seagulls and mingling. I'm not kidding, every boy she saw in the ocean she walked over to, trying to make friends.

Florida - Part 1

Happy Easter, everyone!

Greetings from Florida. We left St. Louis on Thursday and made it to Sarasota Friday (early) evening. We've been having so much fun! Of course, we're taking TONS of pictures, so look for multiple posts.
