Halloween 2010

Halloween is my dad's birthday. We started the day with breakfast and presents. We all chipped in and got him a new camera. I think he was pretty surprised.

Amelia opened her card from Grandma, Grandpa & Aunt Marilyn.

She spent some time playing with her Disney princesses (that's Jasmine in her hands).

Posing with Daddy

Amelia always calls "Aladdin" Daddy whenever she sees the character (it's pretty cute). For Halloween, Amelia decided she wanted to wear her Jasmine costume that Grandma made.

Amelia is not feeling Halloween.

She was pouting, so I thought I'd pout too.

Our family. I have no idea why Alex is holding Amelia like that - it looks super uncomfortable.

Instead of heading towards the door, she ran away from it.

Outside. All she wanted to do was play by the tree.

Ringing Grandma & Grandpa's doorbell

Checking out her goodies!

Unfortunately, Amelia wasn't in to Halloween this year. We went to 2 houses, tried for a 3rd where she freaked out and hit Alex in the face in the process. *Sigh* Maybe next year. When we got home, she told us, "Halloween. Don't like it."

Boo @ the Zoo!

We went to our 2nd Annual Boo @ the Zoo on Saturday with our good friends, the Peusters. They have a daughter (Natalie) who is about 9 months younger than Amelia.
The weather this year was much milder than last year. Amelia dressed up as Princess Aurora and Natalie was Minnie Mouse. I might be biased, but they were the cutest little girls at the whole park! :)
We brought our 2-seater wagon and the girls had a blast, playing and people-watching while Alex pulled them around the park. The giraffes were definitely the highlight of the day.
It's hard to believe that next year, we'll have another little one along with us!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We went to Eckert's to pick apples and get our pumpkins on an unseasonably warm Saturday. Seriously - we were sweating! This year, my parents and Aunt Marilyn joined us.
Amelia had a lot of fun looking at the animals in the petting zoo. Then we took the tractor ride out the get some apples (it was slim pickings). My parents & aunt opted to head on back, while we went ahead to the pumpkin patch.
It was a great day!
