Detroit Zoo

While in Michigan, we went to the Detroit Zoo with Uncle Mickey and Babcia.

It was a beautiful day and we all had a fun time!

[The general consensus was that the St. Louis Zoo is BY FAR a better zoo.]

Visit to Michigan...and the ER

We visited Alex's family in Michigan a few weeks ago. We hadn't been there since October. It was nice to visit, even though Alex didn't get to see most of his friends. :(

Amelia LOVED running around in the fenced yard, a luxury we don't have back home.

Alex's parents had a BBQ on Sunday, so a lot of people came over to hang with us. We had a lot of fun! Amelia especially enjoyed playing with Reed - we took such cute pictures!

On Monday, Amelia became so sick we ended up in the ER. :( She had a high fever and was hard to keep from passing out. Turns out she had a bad ear infection. Poor thing! She's definitely on the mend now, but doesn't want to let me out of her sight. I'm hoping that will pass soon.

Moving, Playdates & Pool

We recently moved back in with my parents to save some money to buy a house. The transition has (mostly) been pain-free. :)
