Florida - Part 3

This morning we went to Mote Aquarium. It was so neat! It was mostly indoors with some parts outside. We saw so many creatures - it was a hit! Amelia really liked looking at the fish, the sea turtles and the manatees.

Waiting to go into the aquarium

FISH!

Babcia, Amelia & Dada

A giant squid - it was super ugly.

We attempted the whole put-your-head-in-the-hole pic, but Amelia couldn't have been LESS interested in putting her hed in the hole. So, this is what I got.

She WAS interested in splashing in the touchable aquarium, though.

Lily pads

Shark tank

Stingrays

Cute little seahorses. They also had itty bitty seahorses that were just born on 4/6/10. They looked like sea monkeys (Ok, a little bigger than that).

Sea turtle

Another sea turtle

They had a net to show how hard it is for sea turtles to get out. Amelia had a blast playing in it and didn't want to come out.

Amelia liked watching the manatees.

Manatee swimming towards us.

Seriously, coming straight at us.

But then he turned.

Dolphins.

St. Armands Circle - a cool old car (I mainly put this on for my dad!)

Downtown Sarasota

A sculpture of the couple kissing from the famous victory picture.

Playing with sidewalk chalk.

She liked playing in the rocks.

Amelia the artist.
