HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
Our 4th did not go as planned, but we are learning that one of the "joys" of parenthood is rolling with the punches. We were supposed to head over to our friend's for a BBQ, but Amelia must have known it was a special day and REFUSED to take a nap. So we settled for Grandma & Grandpa's and then home to see what other surprises the day would bring!

Relaxing...it IS a holiday!Amelia ended up "napping" right before her usual bedtime and was awake to watch the Macy's fireworks on tv. She stared at the screen and then would look at either me or Alex like, "Did you see that?!?" So cute.
She slept pretty good...the fireworks and storm didn't even faze her.

Amelia's dress is so adorable. Where did you get that?
Leah has the same tank shirt (the one in purple), but she has it in hot pink. She actually just wore it today for the first time. I agree, denim shorts on little ones are so cute!
